I’m an Information & Experience Design Consultant at PebbleRoad (Singapore). It’s really quite hard to describe what I do, but what the company does is basically what I do. I’ll elaborate on this at another time.

When I started this blog, I was an Educational Technologist at the Teaching & Learning Centre of Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Singapore). My work dealt with technology, education, and the intersection of both. I conducted classes on different types of software and technology, and how to use them for teaching and learning. I also advised lecturers on what kinds of technology to use for their specific needs. I also did some training and facilitation in pedagogy. No, I don’t think technology is necessary for effective education, but it sure can be useful.
